Suite Bathroom
The Challenge
This bathroom badly needed a deep clean – all the way to the studs. The exterior walls weren’t insulated and there was more than a little water damage to the flooring, walls and trim. Plumbing pipes from the floor above were exposed and the window still featured the original 70’s valance design, all making the room feel smaller than it needed to be.
The Solution
After demolishing the entire room, a small change to the layout gave the bathroom some of the unused space from the water-heater closet. New drywall on the walls and ceiling ensured properly framed in and concealed pipes and head ducts. A crisp new tile floor, tub and shower surround, and modern vanity completed the relaxing space.
